Happening at Oak Grove

We are pleased to inform you that the FIT program has started on EACH  and will run until Saturday May 18, 2023. Students will engage in two 45 academic sessions in reading and math from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Students will be served a light snack from the cafeteria upon their arrival at 10:00 AM.

Transportation IS NOT available at this time. Families must arrange to drop off and pick up their children from the FIT program. Both drop off and pick up will be located at Door 1, at the bottom of the main stairs, near the Pre K wing. Once the buses are confirmed, we will share that information with you all. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this brief period.

Greetings OGBES Families!

As you know, OGBES has been soliciting community input for the opportunity to become a 200-Day School, meaning school would begin 20 days earlier, July 22, 2024 as opposed to the regular start time of August 19, 2024.  There are several benefits to the additional 20 days, most importantly, the opportunity to get to know our students, establish relationships, and determine the best way to support their academic, social, and emotional needs.  The additional days would also allow us to provide experiential learning trips, community based exploration, and so much more!

The RPS Engagement team has made calls and stopped by the residences of many families to solicit input.  However, we have only heard from approximately 50% of our families.  If you HAVE NOT already shared your input, please take a few minutes to review the attached and provide input for the 200-Day School schedule decision.  We would love to hear from each of you!
